3rd Grade- Space Mix media

A Dual language class that created mix-media pieces based on space. The mediums used liquid tempera paint, food dye, shaving cream, tin foil, tissue paper, and black paper.

Mural_ 6th and 7th

As part of building a school community, sixth and seventh grade aided in creating a mural at the main entrance of the school building.

5th Grade - Sculptures

The second part of the unit is based on the work of Nikii De Saint Phalle. Students created small sculptures based on either their paintings or on their playing cards.

Playing Card re-design - 5th Grade

Inspired by the work of Nikki De Saint Phalle. Students redesigned playing cards including King, Queen, and Jack.

6th Grade - Soft sculpture

Based on the artists Nick Cave and Lexy Ho-Tai students created either a soft sculpture or a puppet.
